Mars-II 501 Instructions
in V9 & V10 PS2
Put the game in the drive and press RESET
Load the PS1 disc or DVD movie into the PS2 and close the drawer
Hold the power button down till the PS2 switches STANDBY (red power light)
Push the RESET button twice quickly
For DVD movies only - if the browser screen appears select the gold disc and press X
Disabling The Mars II for online gaming or original PS2 games and DVD movies
Turn the PS2 power on holding the reset button until the blue light is on and wait for one second
To enable the mod chip switch off the PS2 or press the RESET button until red light (standby mode)
Always remember that the machine should be TURNED OFF between modes - so if you have played it in one mode and you want to play it in a different mode like PS1 then PS2 etc.. then you need to turn it off for a few seconds first.
**Please note that due to differences in the quality & alignment of lazers and drives in PS2s from birth and also differences in DVD & CD burning methods and brands of blank media, it can be normal for your backups to misfire and need to be booted more than once in some instances.
