Yes, we all know about the chip called the infectus and what it does, but that is an R&D tool that DOES NOT have anything to do with being able to play back-up games.

Service News: YES, PS3 loves to burn out it's Bluray drive just like PS2 enjoyed the hobby of burning out it's DVD drive... They are very expensive to replace and it can get slow and time consuming waiting for parts to arrive from China etc.. As parts availability for these improves I will mention it again here in future.
