qoob PRO is the most advanced upgrade solution. It is not only recommended
for developers and homebrew software users, gamers will also benefit from
the big number of cheats and additional applications that can be stored on
the 16 MBit Flash Memory. It fulfills all needs and leaves enough
potential and capacity for future applications and developments.
The USB flashing tool is a very unique feature of the qoob PRO and is very easy to use, there have been no compatibility issues so far. You would never have to burn a DVD again for flashing applications or bios updates. All in all the best price value ratio in the premium chip market. A flash tool for MAC OS would be cool though. |
The Viper GC was the first GC modchip on the market. The external
programming capability via LPT is very useful but still causing a lot of
communication errors and compatability issues. The bios updates are
frequently. Regarding it features it is too overpriced compared to the
qoob PRO. Unfortunately more games are popping up now that the viper
chip will not play.

The qoob SX is best choice for all gamers that are looking for a low
budget mod, with all basic functions and even a bit more at best price
value ratio. It is not recommended for developers.
Cheats support would have been good for this chip, since a lot of gamers still want to use cheats. |
